Problem

Many people are curious about investing in stocks or currencies but find most trading platforms too complex or intimidating. Beginners often feel lost when looking at charts, indicators, or lists of stocks without clear guidance. Users want to stay updated and make smarter decisions, but don’t know where to start. This highlights a clear need for simpler, more approachable tools that empower users without overwhelming them.

Process

We followed a Design Thinking approach, starting with user research to understand the pain points of new traders. We moved from rough sketches to high-fidelity prototypes, constantly validating our ideas with feedback loops. Our focus was on balancing powerful analytics with a beginner-friendly experience. Every step was centered around the question: “How can we make this feel effortless for someone new to trading?”

Solution

We created a mobile app that gives users access to detailed stock, currency, and crypto charts, index tracking, and simple watchlist creation. The design focuses on clarity and ease-of-use, with clean visuals and intuitive navigation. Users can explore detailed analytics for each stock or currency, and we added an AI-powered feature called “Get AI Analytics” to help users receive smart insights on any index page.

Learnings

This project deepened my ability to simplify complex data into an intuitive UI. Working with a tight team improved my communication and decision-making across disciplines. It pushed me to think about design not just visually, but strategically, with both users and business in mind. I also gained valuable experience making decisions and designing rapidly under strict deadlines, balancing speed with quality.
